Answer:

Common stock: $4,400,000

Additional paid-in capital: $20,000,000

Treasury stock: ($4,300,000)

Explanation:

Common stock = (number of shares issued – number of share repurchased) x par value = (2,500,000 – 100,000 – 200,000) * $2 = $4,400,000

Additional paid-in capital is the excess of par-common stock = number of shares issued * (purchased price – par)= 2,500,000 * ($10-$2) = $20,000,000

Treasury stock = number of share repurchased x (par value -repurchase price) = 100,000*($2-$15) + 200,000*($2-$17) = ($4,300,000)

Aleksandr-060686 [28]
<span>This is a de-marketing strategy through ads, which are assumed to be digital ads. The assumption is that the digital ad would reach the target audience of teenagers to discourage smoking. This type of marketing campaign shows the tobacco company in a 'responsible' light to the consumer. By discouraging underage use, the consumer can assume that this must be a good company and is honest in their marketing.</span>

BigorU [14]

Answer:

3.46 m/s

Explanation:

This is actually a Physics question and not a Business question.

According to the property of conservation of momentum, the speed of the Mazda before the collision multiplied by the mass of the Mazda must equal the speed after the collision multiplied by the mass of both cars:

m_1v_1=(m_1+m_2)*v_2\\940*12.5=(940+2460)*v_2\\v_2= 3.46\ m/s

The post-collision speed of the two entangled cars is 3.46 m/s.
