Hi there!

The aphorism Benjamin Franklin used were about political ideology.

Benjamin Franklin’s aphorisms exemplify American literature through this work and give those examples of political ideology and criteria, doctrines and political philosophies that reflect part of the argument of his writings and their meaning.

Benjamin Franklin published a yearly almanack called “Poor Richard's Almanack”. Franklin adopted the pseudonym of "Poor Richard". In this book, Benjamin Franklin uses common words of the time to get his point across.

Hope this helps!
