The correct answer is:

Qualitative

Quantitative investigations are formal, objective and systematic process where numerical data is obtained and its result is mainly deductive. Normally quantitative investigations are directioned to a reduced set of variables in order to try to obtain explanations of the independent variable, whereas in qualitative investigations the investigator collects a large amount of information about a large range of variables in order to try to elucidate relations about multifactorial facts.

What are your thoughts about the society that Jonas lives in ?
KATRIN_1 [288]
Hi there!

This is an opinion based question, but I would love to give you another point of view.

In the book “The Giver”, Jonas lives in a very “black and white” society. There is no feeling. There is no enjoyment. Everything is... the same.

Of course this is what they wanted the society to be like, but they could not understand when they took away all the feelings of pain and suffering, they took away all the feelings of love as well.

I enjoyed the book very much.

Hope this helps you!
