Mexica people unite their empire to make a powerful force in Meso America. They became powerful in the 15th century by conquering their immediate neighbors and demanded tribute. They treat their people depending on the tribute system. When there is a tribute given, then they will not hurt them; but if there will be no tribute given, then those people will be killed or even sold to slavery or sacrifice to gods.

What are some similarities between the Magna Carta and the US Constitution?
lara31 [8.8K]

Separation of church and state and trial by jury of one's peers are some similarities between the Magna Carta and the US constitution.

Explanation:

Magna carta' Libertatum is commonly called the 'great charter' is a charter of rights agreed by King John in 1215. It protected the freedom of the England' wealthy classes. It was against Absolutism and monarchy and gave rise to the common law. It was written in order to protect the rights of the people against the tyrannical king and it also revealed the grievances pertaining to the feudal system.

Similarly, Declaration of independence was written due to the tyranny and despotic attitude of the English crown against the colonists. People were burdened with heavy taxes and the annoyed colonists plunged into protests paving way for the secession from the homeland and independence. Both the documents gave importance to human rights.

What were some of the consequences of the Cuban Missile Crisis?
daser333 [38]

Answer:

It led to the Soviet Union removing all its nuclear missiles from Cuba and, later, American missiles from Turkey. It led to the signing of the Limited Test Ban Treaty in 1963 and a further thaw in the Cold War.

Explanation:

Cuba stayed communist and highly armed though the Soviet missiles were removed under UN supervision. Both sides considered they had secured a victory - Khrushchev had saved the communist regime in Cuba from invasion by the USA, and had negotiated a deal with the USA on the removal of their Jupiter missiles in Turkey.

The gilded age was a historical period experienced primarily in which region of the united states? far west midwest north south
baherus [9]
The correct answer is north.

This was a period of rapid industrialization which was common in the northern parts of United States of America. It's called gilded because like gilded things, it seemed as if things were going great but that was just a thin layer that was covering a plethora of various social and economic issues. The south didn't experience this very much because they were rather traditionally oriented in their business endeavors and manufacture so they experience the problems of the gilded age as much as the northern parts did.
