You can see coconut trees everywhere in the state. This gives natural beauty to the state. Kerala is also famous for spices especially Black Pepper. Because of this reason, Kerala is also known as the “Spice Garden of India”. Onam is the traditional festival celebrated by all Keralaites every year. It is believed that the Great King Mahabali visits everyone’s home on this day. People put Pookolams in front of their houses on this day to welcome Mahabali.
