Congress felt a moral obligation to aid servicemen in their transition back to civilian life. They developed the GI bill to honor the service and sacrifice of GIs and to ensure that they were able to buy homes, get training, and go to college upon their return from the War.

- taxing. being able to tax every thing that is brought. which poor people cannot afford
- Kings power: the colonies felt the kid shouldn't have sovereignty that said he was God to the people

The cold war affect Europe by dividing it between communist and Democratic countries, which essentially divided Europe into Western Europe and Eastern Europe. This divide caused tension, political unrest and economic difficulties.
