Hey there,
It take 45 min to complete 75% of the wall
1% = 45 / 75
      = 0.6
100 % = 0.6 x 100
           = 60 min
It takes her 60 mins or 1 hour to finish building the wall.

Hope this helps :))

Answer:

The answer is 60 min.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to determine the total time, we have to know about direct proportionality.

In math, two variables are said to be in a relation of direct proportionality if one variable increases, the other will increase too and the rate of both is a constant. The value of this constant is called the coefficient of proportionality.

In this case, if emma spends more time in the wall, she will build more wall.

So the constant is:

\frac{time}{percentage}=k\\\frac{45}{75}=k\\0.6=k

Now, applying this constant to a 100%:

T=total time

\frac{T}{100}=k=0.6\\T=100*0.6\\T=60

Finally, the total time is 60 min.

Divide 11 1/4 by 2.
Scilla [17]

Answer:

the answer is 5 5/8

Step-by-step explanation:

if you make 11 1/4 into an improper fraction, you get 45/4 (this fraction simplified would give you your original mixed number). Using the keep, change, flip rule, you would multiply 45/4 by 1/2, giving you 45/8. This fraction simplified is your answer, 5 5/8.

3/5 <em>of  </em>1/3 means 3/5 x 1/3

\frac{3}{5} \times \frac{1}{3}  = \frac{3}{15}

3/15 simplifies to 1/5

So 1/5 of the students in the high school are girls who play volleyball

The length of a rectangle is 3 feet longer than the width. The perimeter is 30 feet. Find the length and width of the rectangle.
Inessa [10]
The rectangle has a length of 9 and a width of 6. This was found by adding them to get 15 and multiplying by 2 to get the perimeter of 30. Also 9 is 3 more than 6.
