Answer:

Genotype of offsprings: 1 TT, 2Tt, 1tt (lethal)

Phenotype of offsprings: 1 long tail, 2 Short/absent tail

Explanation:

This is a cross involving a single gene coding for tail length in cat. According to the question, the gene exhibits incomplete dominance because one allele is incompletely dominant over the other, and instead produce a third intermediate phenotype. T allele codes for normal long tail, while allele t is lethal, but a short or absent tail is produced in a heterozygous state (Tt).

In a cross between two short-tailed cats i.e. Tt, gametes with T and t alleles will be produced and when combined using a punnet square, four possible offsprings will result having the following genotypes:

TT, Tt, Tt, tt (1:2:1)

The TT offspring will be phenotypically long-tailed, the two Tt offsprings will be phenotypically short-tailed while the tt offspring will not survive since the expression of the homozygous 't' allele is lethal to the developing embryo. Hence, the Phenotypes of the offsprings will likely be 1 long-tailed, 2 Short or absent tailed.

What two things can alter the shape and function of an enzyme
mars1129 [50]

Temperature can cause an enzymes shape and function to alter due to the fact that once an enzyme reaches its optimum level, if it goes over it begins to denature. If the temperature is below optimum, then an enzyme will work at a slower rate.  Also, the pH can affect an enzyme.

Cells that support neurons structurally and functionally are called B NEUROGLIA
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

B. neuroglia.

Explanation:

Neuroglia, also called glial cells are cells that support neurons structurally and functionally.

There exists two broad classes of cells in the nervous system which are:

  1. Neurons
  2. Glia

The neurons process information while the glia support the neuron mechanically and metabolically.

In general, there are three main types of cells that make up the nervous system including the above two.
