In the short story "The wrong place" by Susan Michalski, Lana wakes up in a seat of a train station while she suffers a bomb attack without knowing what is exactly happening. When the bomb attack happened, Lana covered her head while she waited for everything to settle, then she crawled finding a red scarf that had flown from the neck of the horseman. Given the color of the scarf and the horrible situation she was living, the red scarf symbolize the blood that covered the place at which the bomb attack happened.
