Based on her sililoquy, explain the character of lady macbeth?

English

Lady Macbeth's soliloquy is basically her wishing for her femininity to be taken away and replaced with the ruthlessness that only a man could possess at the time. She wants to be 'unsexed', which means that she longer wants to be entailed to the traits of being a female: kind, gentle and nurturing.

It means that her character is ruthless. She's probably the most unconventional female character Shakespeare has ever written. She's manipulative of Macbeth, and demands obedience from him (which at the time, was supposed to be the other way around. Women were viewed as less than men).

mezya [45]

Answer:

Allusion.

Explanation:

Literary devices are those devices that writers use to express and relay their messages and make their works better and richer. It allows the readers to better understand and gives them a better picture of the story. An allusion is one such device where the writer alludes to a particular story without explicitly referring to it.

In the given scene where Mercutio encourages Romeo to "<em>soar</em>" with "<em>Cupid's wings"</em>, Shakespeare is alluding to Cupid, the god of desire and love. This allusion seems to suggest that Mercutio wants Romeo to fly high and enjoy himself at the Capulet's party, and to look for love and not be depressed or sad.

Thus, the literary device that William Shakespeare used in this scene is allusion.

Which is the longest word in english . and what is it about ??
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

The correct answer is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.

Explanation:

The word pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is an artificial word that supposedly means, "lung disease caused by inhaling very fine silica dust, causing inflammation in the lungs." It is used mainly as an example when speaking of very long words.

A disease that meets the definition of the word is commonly called silicosis.

The 45-letter word was coined to be the longest in the English language. It is, in fact, the longest word to appear in an English dictionary, found in current editions of several dictionaries. It is usually abbreviated with the number P45.
