Based on her sililoquy, explain the character of lady macbeth?

English
1 answer:
Sonja [21]3 years ago

Lady Macbeth's soliloquy is basically her wishing for her femininity to be taken away and replaced with the ruthlessness that only a man could possess at the time. She wants to be 'unsexed', which means that she longer wants to be entailed to the traits of being a female: kind, gentle and nurturing.

It means that her character is ruthless. She's probably the most unconventional female character Shakespeare has ever written. She's manipulative of Macbeth, and demands obedience from him (which at the time, was supposed to be the other way around. Women were viewed as less than men).

Can you proofread this? ik it is long but i need another opinion.
Rzqust [24]

-Are the words "Transition" and "Conclusion sentence" there because you used it as a guide, you are required to have them, or you need to put one in

-There was a little bit of a lot of word and sentence repeating, I feel like a different word choice could have been used, like synonyms. Like instead of knowledge being used 500 times, awareness or apprehension, understanding, or comprehension could have been used. Just look up synonyms of words you used a bunch of times or for bland (boring) words

- There is some punctuation that could be improved

- Flow is good, with a few choppy parts

- Other than those it is really good

-Let me know if you need anything else, I am more than happy to help

Which accurately describes the experience of gold seekers traveling to the Klondike?
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
The correct options are as follows:
1. B
Many people left their homes to travel to Klondike when they got information that gold has been discovered there, but it was only about half of these people who actually got to Klondike. This is due majorly to the difficulty encountered on the way, especially that of harsh weather.
2. A.
Due to the huge number of people that are migrating to the site of gold mining on a daily basis, the government of Canada gave attention to the region where the gold was been mined. Yukon was made a territory and the region was developed.
3. FALSE.
The statement above is false. Jack London was the author of the book 'the call of the wild'. He was one of those people who participated in the Klondike gold rush, when he was 21 years old he set out for Yukon. Jack London's work was celebrated during his life time.
