I believe that the sheer size of the Palace of Versailles is most spectacular. The grandeur and magnificence of the Palace is breathtaking. If I were to make changes to the layout of the Palace of Versailles, I would make walkways more direct, because some of the walkways are long and winding.

The palace at Versailles was how king Louis the 14th separates himself from the French people. He brought people in and would bring them into events but people would fight in the palace who would get to put the royal cape on the king just to go with him to something. Most people do not know that at the palace, they hah beautiful fountains but, none of them worked. So the king would have the peasants behind bushes and he would have them spray water so this was probably one of the good and bad things about this place anyway hope this helps
