Why was the invention of oil painting considered important to painters in the renaissance?
Mars2501 [29]
The process of oil painting is using drying oil with pigment in order to create a picture. The person who is most commonly known as the inventor of the technique is Van Eyck. Linseed oil, poppy seed oil, walnut oil and safflower oil are the most commonly used oils for this technique. By the peak point of the Renaissance, the most common painting technique was oil painting in comparison to tempera paints. Oil paints became more popular than tempera due to their ability to take longer to dry providing artist more time to paint as well as being brighter and providing a smooth finish in comparison to tempera.

2. How did Ferren learn about engineering, if not in school? How might
Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

He was learning engineering by researching and separating the electronics.

Explanation:

He was self-learner, and this could be related to ancient cultures that were learning engineering in creative ways, as then the schools that could teach them didn’t exist. Ferren’s father thought him that communication in life doesn’t have to be only creative and decorative. It can also be developed through learning and having ideas that could change the world.
