Which of the following New England colonies was the least successful as a trade center?
horrorfan [7]
New England colonies are the territories that are geographically part of North America but they are actually under the sovereign leadership of England. The other name for New England is British America. This places include Connecticut, Rhode Island, Providence Plantations, Massachusetts Bay, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire colonies.

The land in these colonies are mostly forests so farming is not their major occupation. Hence, they import crops from outside, and in return, trade their fish because they have rich aquatic resources being situated by the river. But among these colonies, the Plymouth in Connecticut is the least successful as compared to Boston in Massachusetts.
