The pressure to do what someone else says to do can be powerful and hard to resist, especially for a child. A person might feel pressure to do something just because others are doing it around them and they want to not be awkward. Peer pressure can influence a person to do something that is relatively harmless or something that has more serious consequences!

zlopas [31]

Answer:

This is an example of an experimental design.

Explanation:

Experimental design in research involves controlling the variables in order to prove the hypothesis. In an experimental design there must be an experimental group, that in this case is the group that received an herbal supplement, and a control group, that was only administered placebo. By having a control group, both groups can be measured and compared at the end of the experimental phase, to measure the influence of the independent variable.

prohojiy [21]

Answer:

Cognitive model.

Explanation:

The statement of Dr. Alcott and his comments are characteristics of the cognitive model's perspective as this model describes how people's perceptions or thoughts of particular situations, experiences, etc. reflect on their emotions and behaviors. We can see this in the statement: "Your depression may be due to your misperception of this unfortunate situation and your tendency to blame yourself for events that are beyond your control. What we need to do is help you to recognize and modify your irrational beliefs." Janet is affected by her own thoughts and her irrational belief that she is to blame for events that weren't her fault.
