1) If digits can not repeat, the number of possible variations is 10x9x8x7x6 =30,240

And the probaility of guessing is 1 / 30240 =0.000033

2) If digits can repeat an zero is no one of the digits, the number of possible variations is 9x9x9x9x9 = 9^5 = 59,049.

The probaility of guessing is 1/59,049 = 0.000017

A banquet caterer has 4636 dishes of the same pattern in inventory. If there are 7 dishes per place setting, how many place sett
tino4ka555 [31]
Hi. In order to solve this, we simply need to divide. Let's start with what we know.

The caterer has 4,636 dishes
There are 7 dishes per place setting

To find out how many place settings there are, we divide 7 into 4,636, which gives us 662 with a remainder of 2.

I am attaching an image so you can see how it is worked out.

I hope it helps.

Take care,
Diana

If f(x)=2x+2 and g(x)=x^3, what is (g•f)(2)
azamat

Answer:

216

Step-by-step explanation:

(g∘f)(2) = g(f(2)) = g(2·2+2) = g(6) = 6³ = 216

_____

Please note that the ∘ operator is very different from the • operator. Your problem statement asks one thing, but the picture asks something entirely different.
