From 1600 – 1763, several European nations vied for control of the North American continent. Why did England win the struggle?
serious [3.7K]

Answer: England won because when they saw the chance to get more land they wasted no time in conquering it. They had a powerful army to go to war against Spain and France.

Spanish and France had some failures, so England took vantage of it.

Spanish had the most powerful army, but in 1600's they started to have problems and has to leave.

French had the control of middle America, but they were not as powerful as Spanish and Great Britain. When they lost for Great Britain they gave up completely.
