Answer: d. He fought with only his bare hands and no other weapons.

Beowulf is an epic hero. Because of this, we know that he is able to overcome obstacles and achieve things that no normal human being could possibly achieve. One of his missions is to get rid of the monster Grendel. We are able to witness his almost supernatural abilities when he is able to fight Grendel with only his bare hands and no other weapons.

Allisa [31]
For A) to be correct, it should be "The deli Worker gave him and her free slice of ham. For B) to be correct, it should be Eric told them about his Journey. For D) is also wrong! With that being said, C has the correct object pronouns.

Answer:

B. Cause and effect

Explanation:

The given paragraph is structured as a cause and effect paragraph. This type of paragraph explains why something happens. The occurrence that takes place is defined as the effect and the thing that causes it is the cause.

Here, we have two groups of students who perceived the same lecture in two completely different ways. This is the effect. What caused this is the way the lecturer was introduced. The students' expectations (cause) affected their opinion on the lecture, the final result (effect).
