Answer with explanation:

Number of days in a year , considering the year is non leap year =365 days

→  365=52 × 7 + 1

It means there are 52 weeks in a year ,that is there are 52 sundays.And one day is left ,so it can be either of seven days.So, there can be either 52 sundays or 53 sundays in a year.

For a leap year

 366= 52 × 7 + 2

It means there are 52 weeks in a year ,that is there are 52 sundays.And two days are left .So, there can be either 52 sundays or 53 sundays in a leap year also.

⇒Number of ways of Selecting 10 Sundays from the school year either it is leap year or non leap year, at random, is likely to have studied the most hours overall, and is likely to have studied the least hours overall can be given by

       _{10}^{52}\textrm{C}\\\\\text{Or}\\\\ _{10}^{53}\textrm{C}

Mister Lincoln by juices and water for the school picnic a pack of their juices box cost $5 about the six water bottles cost $3
Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer:

10 packs of juice and 15 packs of water was bought by Mr. Lincoln

Step-by-step explanation:

Mr. Lincoln buys juice and water for the school picnic. A pack of 8 juice boxes costs $5. A pack of 6 water bottles costs $3. Mr. Lincoln spends $95 for 170 juice boxes and bottles of water.

Solution:

Let x represent the number of packs of juice boxes bought by Mr. Lincoln and let y represent the number of packs of water bottles bought by Mr. Lincoln.

Each pack of juice cost $5 while each pack of water cost $3. Mr. Lincoln spends $95, therefore:

5x + 3y = 95       (1)

Each pack of juice contain 8 juice boxes and each pack of water contain 6 water bottles. Since 170 juice boxes and bottles of water was bought, therefore:

8x + 6y = 170         (2)

Solving equations (1) and (2) simultaneously. Multiply equation (1) by 2 and then subtract equation (2) from the result to get:

2x = 20

x = 10

Substitute x = 10 in equation (1):

5(10) + 3y = 95

50 + 3y = 95

3y = 45

y = 15

Hence 10 packs of juice and 15 packs of water was bought by Mr. Lincoln

hram777 [196]

Answer:

  y = 3·2^x

Step-by-step explanation:

At x=0, f(0) = a = 3

At x=1, f(1) = a·b = 3b = 6   ⇒   b = 6/3 = 2

So, the function is ...

  f(x) = 3·2^x

At the Rubber Duckie booth at the County Fair, contestants randomly pick two rubber ducks, one from each of two separate pools.
Arisa [49]
1. There are 10 ducks in total, 5 in each pool.

2. For each pool, the probability of picking a certain numbered duck—for instance, #3—is 20%.

3. Because the pools are separate with, picking one duck from one pool does not affect the chance of picking a certain duck from the other pool.

4. Therefore, the probability that a contestant wins the game is 20%.

Good luck!

1/46656 I believe. probability isn't really my strong suit tho.

Step-by-step explanation:

1/6 chance for rolling a one × 1/6 chance of rolling a two and so on.
