Read the following paragraph from "From Behind the Veil." The features of her face were fine, and inspired the beholder with the

strongest feelings of awe and worship. She was fearful and breathless, turning from side to side like a timid gazelle. She knew that what she was doing amounted to an unpardonable crime, but drew comfort from one thing—the knowledge that this boy had not seen her before and did not know her. She was having an adventure, nothing more, and she was drawn into it by her youth and by the warm blood which coursed in her veins.

C. Exhilarated

When we look at text and try to determine mood, we should look for the tone of words that help to establish this.  Thus, for an exhilarated mood (which could be negative or positive as it simply refers to an elevated/heightened level of bodily functions), we should look for words that mean something similar and/or phrases that allude can contribute to this feeling.  That said some words that lend to the exhilarated mood are fearful, breathless, timid, adventure, drawn, and blood which coursed in her veins.

Did any of the articles or videos seem biased to you? explain why. The articles are the melting ice and Energy, Carbon Dioxide,
Doss [256]

Answer:

The language in the carbon dioxide article makes the authors sound biased. The article uses negative language to dismiss the opposing point of view. This language includes words such as illogical and misperceptions and phrases such as "prophecies of doom" and "retrogressive policy." The authors also use excessively forceful language to support their conclusion. Some examples include "proven, beyond any doubt," "CO2 is the elixir of life," and "Don't mess with success!".

What does the full moon look like on earth ?
Shtirlitz [24]
From Earth, the Moon's surface looks dark because the illuminated side is facing away from Earth. ... A full Moon occurs when the Moon has moved in its orbit so that Earth is “between” the Moon and the Sun. Between the new and full Moon, the amount of Moon we see grows — or waxes from its right side toward its left side.
