If I find contradictory information when reading my notes to synthesize ideas, I will definitely fine-tune or improve my thinking so that writing my research paper is an accurate and authentic learning process. I will re-evaluate the content of my thesis if it needs revision or not to integrate the specific and true details.

Brrunno [24]

Answer:

(B) to help ensure that participant characteristics don't become confounding variables.

Explanation:

This is one of the reasons why we might want to use random assignment when conducting research. Random assignment helps us ensure that participant's characteristics do not become confounding variables. A confounding variable is a variable that affects both the dependent and the independent variable. This could potentially give rise to a spurious association.

Musya8 [376]

Most deaths in tropical cyclones (hurricanes, typhoons, etc.) are the result of storm/sea surges.

What are storm/sea surges?

 • Storm surge along the coast frequently poses the most risk to people's lives and property during a hurricane.
 • The rising ocean caused by several of the great hurricanes that have made landfall has resulted in high fatality tolls in the past.
 • At least 1500 people perished as a result of Katrina, and many of those deaths were caused directly or indirectly by storm surge.
 • An anomalous increase in water caused by a storm that is higher than the expected astronomical tides is known as a storm surge.

Storm tide, which is referred to as the increase in water level brought on by a storm surge and an astronomical tide, should not be confused with storm surge.

Mashcka [7]

Answer:

Floor Plan

Explanation:

A floor plan is a detailed drawing that is used in architecture or when engineering a building. This is a 'to scale' drawing that typically shows a view from above the room. The things that are included in these plans are the room sizes and the rooms in relation to each other, doorways, hallways and other details. Also included in the floor plans are the placements of kitchen sinks, water heaters and electric outlets. The floor plan must also include the minute details like where light fixtures would go and special notes to the contractor.
