Hello!

You can solve this algebraically

15 - 13(2x + 6) < 15 - 3(6x - 7)

Subtract 15 from both sides

-13(2x + 6) < -3(6x - 7)

Distribute the -13

-26x + -78 < -3(6x - 7)

Distribute the -2

-26x - 78 < -18x + 21

Add 18x to both sides

-8x - 78 < 21

Add 78 to both sides

-8x < 99

Divide both sides by -8

x < -12.375

The answer is -12.375

Hope this helps!

<span>15 - 13(2x + 6) < 15 - 3(6x - 7)
15 - 26x - 78 < 15 - 18x + 21
-26x -63 < -18x + 36
-8x < 99
   x > -99/8
or
   x > - 12.375
