An air temperature of 95ºc most often exists in which layer of the atmosphere?
Vadim26 [7]
<span>An air temperature of 95ºc most often exists in the thermosphere layer of the atmosphere.

It contains highly diluted gas that temperature could reach around 2000 degrees celcius, however, the temperature is said to be not felt due to its near-vacu um nature.

I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!

Assume you have 0.5 m3 of soil with a porosity of 40% and an oven-dry weight of 700 kg. Calculate the bulk density. Next, assume
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

bulk density = 1400 kg/m³

bulk density  after compaction = 1750 kg/m³

Explanation:

given data

volume = 0.5 m³

porosity = 40%

oven-dry weight = 700 kg

reduce the total porosity = 20%

to find out

bulk density and bulk density after compaction

solution

we know bulk density formula that is

bulk density = \frac{weight}{volume}          ...............................1

put here value we get

bulk density = \frac{700}{0.5}

bulk density = 1400 kg/m³

and

if porosity decrease 20 % that mean volume change

so total volume = 0.5 \frac{80}{100}

total volume = 0.4 m³

so bulk density after compaction is from equation 1

bulk density =  \frac{700}{0.4}

bulk density  after compaction = 1750 kg/m³

Which economic system does the best job of balancing freedom and social equality? Include the economic system and a thesis state
Luda [366]
Political economy is the study of how the relationship between politics and economics shapes the balance of freedom and equality. States use several institutions to achieve their economic goals.

Critical to any economy are markets—the interactions between the forces of supply and demand, or how goods are services are exchanged. Another critical component of an economy is property—the ownership of those goods and services.

All states provide some measure of public goods—those services or goods that no one person or organization can own. States differ greatly in what they define as a public good, though national defense and public education are often seen as public goods. Social expenditures—the state’s spending on public benefits—incites furious debates over who benefits from, and pays for, public goods. One major source of public funding—and public debate—is taxation.

One basic way states seek to control the economy is through the creation and management of money. To manage money, states may rely on a central bank, a state institution that controls the flow money and how much it costs to borrow money in that economy. A central bank tries to reduce both inflation (when prices rise because there is too much money and not enough goods) and deflation (when prices drop because there is too little money and too many goods).

Many economic debates focus on regulations—the rules that the state sets to manage the production and exchange of goods or services. Trade is often a focus of regulation, where the state uses tariffs (taxes on imported goods), quotas, and other nontariff regulatory barriers (health, packaging, and other restrictions that make it more difficult for goods to be traded) to help its economy.

Long Island Sound has an average depth of 19.9 meters and a length of 156 kilometers (that is, 156,000 meters). What is the natu
White raven [17]

Answer:

natural period = 22.341 × 10³ s

not expecting development of tides

Explanation:

given data

average depth = 19.9 meters

length = 156 km = 156000 m

to find out

the natural period of oscillation of Long Island Sound

solution

we know that natural period formula that is

natural period = \frac{2l}{\sqrt{gh}}    ................1

here l is length and h is average depth

put here value in equation 1

natural period = \frac{2l}{\sqrt{gh}}

natural period = \frac{2*156000}{\sqrt{9.8*19.9}}

natural period = 22.341 × 10³ s

here i think of very long dam expected length 30 to 50 km be built from coasts straight out to sea or ocean without enclosing

tidal phase difference are introduce across the dam

that leads to significant water level differential in shallow coastal sea

but here not expecting development of tides
