Sure. If the rectangle is a square, then
it rotates onto itself in only 1/4 turn.

I believe so because a full turn is 360 degrees correct so a half turn would be 180 and if you turn the rectangle 90 degrees twice it will be the cover the original rectangle but it would take the full half turn. so it depends on what the want if they mean less and it cant be 180 than the answer is no but if it can be on the half way marker it should be yes

Dina discovered a water leak in her basement and called a plumber to fix and drain it. W(t) the amount of water in the basement
solniwko [45]

Answer:

x-intercept: The plumber drained all the water out after 9 hours.

Relative maximum or minimum: The amount of water reached 70 liters before the draining began.

Increasing or decreasing interval: Over the first 5 hours, the leak just got bigger and bigger.

Step-by-step explanation:

W(t) is the amount of water in the basement. When W(t) = 0, there is no water in the basement. When W(t) = 0, W(t) is a x-intercept. So, x-intercept: The plumber drained all the water out after 9 hours.

The water level gets to a relative maximum after about 5 hours, when the water reaches about 70 liters. So, relative maximum or minimum: The amount of water reached 70 liters before the draining began.

The water level keeps increasing until the relative maximum. That is at 5 hours when the water level is 70 liters. After that point, the water level decreases as the water is being drained until the water level is 0 at 9 hours. So, the increasing or decreasing interval: Over the first 5 hours, the leak just got bigger and bigger.

Hope this helps!

Which is closest to the volume
of a sphere with a radius equal
to 8 centimeters
NemiM [27]

Answer:

The volume of the sphere with radius 8 cm is 2143.573 centimeters³

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The radius of the sphere = r = 8 cm

Let The volume of sphere = v cm³

Now, According to question

Volume of sphere = \dfrac{4}{3} × π × radius³

where r is radius of sphere

π = 3.14

Or, v = \dfrac{4}{3} × 3.14 × r³

Or, v = \dfrac{4}{3} × 3.14 × 8³

Or, v = \dfrac{4}{3} × 1607.68

Or, v = \dfrac{4\times 1607.68}{3}

∴ v = 2143.573 cm³

So, The volume of the sphere = v = 2143.573 cm³

Hence, The volume of the sphere with radius 8 cm is 2143.573 centimeters³ Answer

What are the center and radius of a circle whose equation is:
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

d)

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation of circle with center at point (h, k) and radius, r.

(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2

This problem:

(x − A)^2 + (y − B)^2 = C

The center is (A, B).

The radius is sqrt(C).
