Sure.  If the rectangle is a square, then
it rotates onto itself in only 1/4 turn.

I  believe so because a full turn is 360 degrees correct so a half turn would be 180 and if you turn the rectangle 90 degrees twice it will be the cover the original rectangle but it would take the full half turn. so it depends on what the want if they mean less and it cant be 180 than the answer is no but if it can be on the half way marker it should be yes

What is the property of an angle?
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

When to lines intersect they create four angles. Each angle is opposite to another and form a pair of what are called opposite angles. Angles a and c are opposite angles. Angles b and d are opposite angles. Opposite angles are equal.

Write as<br> logarithm with base 4:<br> 4<br> -5<br> 2<br> -4
NeX [460]

Answer:

log_4(256)=4

log_4(1/1024)=-5

log_4(16)=2

log_4(1/256)=-4

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to write a number, x, such that

Log_4(y)=x.

In exponential form that is 4^x=y.

So first number is x=4.

4^4=256 which means log_4(256) is 4 as a logarithm with base 4.

The second number is x=-5.

4^-5=1/4^5=1/1024 which means log_4(1/1024) is -5 as a logarithm with base 4.

The third number is x=2.

4^2=16 so log_4(16) is 2 as a logarithm with base 4.

The fourth number is x=-4.

Since 4^4=256 then 4^-4=1/256 which means -4 as a logarithm with base 4 is log_4(1/256).

Greeley [361]

Answer:

<h2>x = -5</h2><h2>y = -2</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

\left\{\begin{array}{ccc}3x+4y=-23&(1)\\x=3y+1&(2)\end{array}\right\\\\\text{Substitute (2) to (1):}\\\\3(3y+1)+4y=-23\qquad\text{use the distributive property}\\\\(3)(3y)+(3)(1)+4y=-23\\\\9y+3+4y=-23\qquad\text{subtract 3 from both sides}\\\\13y=-26\qquad\text{divide both sides by 13}\\\\\boxed{y=-2}\\\\\text{Put the value of }\ y\ \text{to (2)}:\\\\x=3(-2)+1\\\\x=-6+1\\\\\boxed{x=-5}
