The independent variable in the relationship is the Number of Months and should be placed on the x-axis (the horizontal axis)

The dependent variable in the relationship is the Number of Fish and should be placed on the y-axis (the vertical axis)

Hope it helps.

Answer:

We have been given the table in which number of months and number of fishes are shown.

The independent variable is the one which has no impact of the other variable.

So, the independent variable is Number of months and should be place don x-axis

And dependent variable is the one which depends on the independent variable.

So, the independent variable is number of fishes should be placed on y-axis.

The general solution of 2 y ln(x)y' = (y^2 + 4)/x is
Sav [38]

Replace y' with \dfrac{\mathrm dy}{\mathrm dx} to see that this ODE is separable:

2y\ln x\dfrac{\mathrm dy}{\mathrm dx}=\dfrac{y^2+4}x\implies\dfrac{2y}{y^2+4}\,\mathrm dy=\dfrac{\mathrm dx}{x\ln x}

Integrate both sides; on the left, set u=y^2+4 so that \mathrm du=2y\,\mathrm dy; on the right, set v=\ln x so that \mathrm dv=\dfrac{\mathrm dx}x. Then

\displaystyle\int\frac{2y}{y^2+4}\,\mathrm dy=\int\dfrac{\mathrm dx}{x\ln x}\iff\int\frac{\mathrm du}u=\int\dfrac{\mathrm dv}v

\implies\ln|u|=\ln|v|+C

\implies\ln(y^2+4)=\ln|\ln x|+C

\implies y^2+4=e^{\ln|\ln x|+C}

\implies y^2=C|\ln x|-4

\implies y=\pm\sqrt{C|\ln x|-4}

Which equation shows the quadratic formula used correctly to solve 7x2 = 9+ x for x?
____ [38]

Answer:

x = (1 + sqrt(253))/14 or x = (1 - sqrt(253))/14

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve for x:

7 x^2 = x + 9

Subtract x + 9 from both sides:

7 x^2 - x - 9 = 0

x = (1 ± sqrt((-1)^2 - 4×7 (-9)))/(2×7) = (1 ± sqrt(1 + 252))/14 = (1 ± sqrt(253))/14:

Answer: x = (1 + sqrt(253))/14 or x = (1 - sqrt(253))/14

What is the center and radius of -10x = -121 - y2 - x2 -22y
OlgaM077 [116]

We need to find the center and the radius of

-10x\: =\: -121\: -\: y^2\: -\: x^2\: -22y

The general circle equation is the following

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

where

(h,k) is the center and

r is the radius

1. rearrange the equation

(x^2-10x)+(y^2+22y+121)=0

2. Add 25 on both sides

(x^2-10x+25)+(y^2+22y+121)=25

3. Factor

(x-5)^2+(y+11)^2=5^2

Now we have an equation that is very similar to the circle equation, so let's compare them

Center -> (h,k) = (5,-11)

radius -> r = 5
