Answer:

It is more efficient for society to allow one company to be in control

Explanation:

Because of the nature of the process of producing and delivering such goods as electricity, it would not be useful to allow for the usual kind of competition in these areas.

Monopolies are allowed in areas such as energy production because IT IS MORE EFFICIENT TO ALLOW ONE COMPANY TO BE IN CONTROL.
This type of monopoly is called natural monopoly. Natural monopoly occur when the most efficient number of firms in an industry is one. In this case, the cost of producing the product is always quite high, so the practical thing to do is to have only one company produce that good.

irina [24]

Answer:

Antitrust.

Explanation:

The European Commission recently accused Google of abusing its Web-search dominance, harming both competitors and consumers in European Union markets. The Commission also began investigating antitrust issues related to Google's Android mobile operating system. This is an example of antitrust.

The antitrust refers majorly to group of companies coming together to decide what the pricing for a particular commodity should be in that market. This basically helps limits monopoly.

Kevin weighed his baggage before going on a trip. In what unit did the measuring scale show the weight of his baggage? What is t
Mrrafil [7]

The correct answer would be, Kilogram. K.G.

Kevin weight his baggage before going to trip. In Kilogram the measuring scale showed the weight of his baggage. The shortened form of the unit is K.G.

Explanation:

The unit which is used to measure weight of something is either Kilogram or Pounds. The measuring scales usually have both units printed on it. But the unit which is most widely used in airports to measure weight is Kilogram.

So when Kevin was going on a trip and wanted to measure the baggage weight, the measuring scale measured the weight in Kilograms. The shortened form for Kilogram is K.G.

There are further sub units of Kilogram, which are used in measuring other quantities, for example, Kilogram, Gram, Milligram, Microgram, etc.

Another unit of weight is Pounds and its short form is LBS
