Hello,
What were three cities located on the Silk Road that merchants would stop at?
- Constantinople
- Roman Empire
- Byzantine Empire
What were these cities like?
They were realtively big cities with emperors that ruled the land. Lots of stores families that were slaves and lots of wars. So many different goods to trade.
Immigrants from Mexico I'm pretty sure.
Yes!
Well, in a sense.
It was better in the sense that it stood more of a chance of being implemented without the Courts rejecting it.
I believe the answer to this would be Roosevelt Corollary, as it's the only option of yours that's closely connected to the Monroe Doctrine.
Possible points to discuss: both claimed millions of lives and spread quickly across country borders; no one understood the cause of either disease; no one had a cure for either disease; diagnosis was almost certainly a death sentence; people often deserted those who fell ill because of the fear of contagion spreading; suppositions of how one could become infected were often not true; animals were involved in the initial spread of each disease (rats and primates); neither disease had an official name for quite some time.
