Astronomers believe life on mars could be the next planet habitable for humans. Any other planet in our solar system cannot support life as it is either too cold or too hot. The planet also needs to have water, a atmosphere, and needs to be able to spin on a axis. Hope this helps!

Many scientists believe we are not alone in the universe. It's probable, they say, that life could have arisen on at least some of the billions of planets thought to exist in our galaxy alone -- just as it did here on planet Earth. This basic question about our place in the Universe is one that may be answered by scientific investigations. What are the next steps to finding life elsewhere?

I found this answer on nasa.gov I hope this helps.

Which regions put policies in place to expand their populations?
aliina [53]

Answer:

The regions that have negative demographic trends and the ones where religion has big political power are the ones where there are policies for expansion of the population.

Explanation:

When it comes to population policies, the world can be divided into two groups, one being the one that has policies to stop the population growth and the other that has policies to expand its population. Generally speaking, the Western countries and the Muslim countries are the ones that promote the expansion of their populations, though the reasons are different.

The Western countries face very low birthrates and aging populations, so they have such policies in order to experience a decline of their populations and to have enough labor force for their economies. The Muslim countries, on the other hand, are countries where the religious authorities have big political power, and as it has always been the case in such situations, there is policies in place for expansion of the population so that the religion has more power through more followers, and maybe even expand by attacking other countries in the future.

How might a state's compact shape affect the state's government? (1 point)
shusha [124]

Answer:

I and III

Explanation:

If the state were compact, it would be easy to use a unitary system to govern from a central capital city.

Regional differences should be relatively small, so it would be unlikely that the state would have to form a confederate system of government.

II is wrong. If the state is compact, it should be easy to govern from a central location

IV is wrong. If the state is compact, the centripetal forces should be stronger than the centrifugal forces.

Poland is a compact state with a unitary form of central government located in Warsaw and 16 provinces or administrative divisions.
