Answer:

The build 2 \frac{2}{9} kilometers each day

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Set up an equation</em>

<em>The road is 12 kilometers long and it was worked on for 5 \frac{2}{5} days.</em>

<em>So, to set up the equation, divide 12 by 5 \frac{2}{5}</em>

\frac{12}{5\frac{2}{5}}  <em>Make 5 \frac{2}{5} into an improper fraction</em>

<em>Multiply 5 by 5, then add 2</em>

<em>\frac{12}{\frac{27}{5}}</em>

<em>You can't divide a number by a fraction, so you kcf (keep it, change it, flip it)</em>

<em>So keep the 12, change the division to multiplication, flip \frac{27}{5}</em>

12 x \frac{5}{27} <em>Multiply straight across</em>

\frac{12}{1} x \frac{5}{27} = \frac{60}{27}

<em>Simplify </em>\frac{60}{27}

\frac{60}{27} = \frac{20}{9}<em>  </em><em>The top and the bottom both have 3 in common</em>

<em>Then make \frac{20}{9} into a mixed number</em>

2 \frac{2}{9} <em>9 goes into 20 2 times and has a remainder of 2</em>

How do I solve this system of equations? Help ASAP!<br><br> -4x+9Y=9<br> X-3Y=-6
const2013 [10]
-4x + 9y = 9...............(1)
x - 3y = -6   Multiply through by 3:-
3x - 9y = -18..............(2)

adding equations (1) and (3):-

-x = -9

x = 9

Substitute for x in equation (1)
-4(9) + 9y = 9
-36 + 9y = 9
9y = 45
y = 5

Answer is x = 9 and y = 5

Anybody please help me :( I don’t know the answer ??
enot [183]

elimination means to get rid of one variable by altering the coefficients of variable (by multiplying and diving by some constant number)

in this case, if you just add the two equation, y gets cancelled you get 5x=20 or x=4

put it in any equation to get y (this works because both lines pass through the same point, so they must satisfy that point) to get y=2

BRAINLIEST TO WHOEVER GIVES A GOOD EXPLANATION!!
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

Original function:

f(x) = log2(x)

 Transformed function:

f(x) = -log2(x - 1) + 2

 The transformation process is to take  f(x)=log2(x)   and shift it to the right 1 unit and shift 2 units up.  Then flip it down.

A log cannot have a negative value for an argument.  Set the argument greater than zero.

x - 1 > 0

x > 1

 The domain is all values greater than 1.

To find the range, use the domain.

Evaluate f(1.00001), f(2) , f(200), and f(2000)

Then use those values to determine the range.
