It is a run-on sentence. You have a complete sentence (verb and a noun), I like chicken, and then you have another complete sentence, I hate broccoli. If you had put an and between these two sentences you would have had a compound sentence. Hopefully this helps.
The point of view and purpose change how a reader reads and understands a piece of text. A different purpose has the reader reading the text with a different mindset.
“We all know fear,” says Walker, “but we think of fear as a weakness.” We're wired, she says, to be optimists. We conquer fear, fight it, “but what if we thought of fear as an amazing act of the imagination.” This view is easiest to see in young children, with vivid fears.....
Tuesday is the one with the capitalization error. Days of the week are proper nouns, therefore they need to be capitalized.
