Code of ethics are guidelines while censorship is a rule of law. There are some technical laws in the nation that may allow for this to happen if it is pushed.

Explanation:

Code of ethics are general guidelines over content that are maintained so as to maintain the sanctum of the medium and is not imposed legally.

it is just used to pressure people into making the sort of content that needs to be made according to the enforcer.

But those who defy are not liable to losses.

This is not the case in censorship when people are penalized for going against the set of guidelines and may even get criminal sentences

This has been going on for a long time in the country under the new age and in the world.

I believe that the line from "Helen Grey" which suggests that Helen has an unrealistic sense of herself is the last option - Stoop from your cold height, Helen Grey.
She is giving advice to herself that she should change because nobody will be there for her unless she does that.
