Joe = x
Dennis = 3x

Joe + Dennis = 84

or in other words

x + 3x = 84

4x = 84

x = 84 / 4

x = 21

And if we remember that Joe was x and Dennis was 3x, you can just substitute x to find out how much they paid.

1(21) = 21 = Joe paid $21

3(21) = 63 = Dennis paid $63.

C=(1/4)*circumference
Area=pq+3.142r^2
60*3.142=pq+3.142p^2
q=((1/4)*2p*3.142)+2*3.142
q=1.571p+6.284
188.52=1.571p^2+6.284p+3.142p^2
188.52=4.713p^2+6.284p
188520=4713p^2+6284p

The GCF of the second two is 8pq⁵.
The GCF of the third two is 4p²q⁵.
The GCF of the fourth two is 8p²q.
The GCF of the fifth two is 4p²q.

To find the GCF of each pair, find the greatest number that will divide into each coefficient.  As for the variable portions, choose the variable that has the smallest exponent from each pair.
