To solve this quadratic, use factoring:

x^{2}-11x+19=-5 add 5 to both sides

x^{2} -11x+24=0 factor this into two binomials using factors 3 and 8 for 24

(x-3)(x-8)=0  for this to be a true statement either the first binomial factor or the second binomial factor must equal '0'..

so x=3 and x=8

Help plz ? Enter the slope of the line
Dmitrij [34]
(-2,4), (2,5)

Slope equation : (y₂-y₁) / (x₂-x₁)

Plug in the values.

m = slope

m = (5-4) / (2 + 2)

Simplify.

m = 1/4

So, your slope is 1/4

Using Rigid motion, explain in detail, why triangle ABC must be congruent to triangle DEF
weeeeeb [17]
Using rigid motion, both of these triangles will be congruent. The reason is because rigid motions include reflections, translations, and rotations.

None of these transformations will affect the size or shape of the figure, therefore keeping them congruent.

What is the value of m in the equation 1/2m-3/4n=16, when n=8?
NemiM [27]

Answer:

44

Step-by-step explanation:

1/2m-3/4n=16 , m when n=8

1/2m-3/4n=16

1/2m - 3/4(8) = 16

1/2m - (8 x 3)/4 = 16

1/2m - (24/4) = 16

1/2m - 6 = 16

1/2m = 16 + 6

1/2m = 22

m = 22 x 2

m = 44
