Hi!

First off, I noticed you're using Khan. I just wanted to say I love Khan :D

Okay so let's solve the inequality.

Whatever we do to the inequality, we have to do it to both sides.
4x - 1 + 1 < 11 + 1
4x < 12
Divide by 4 on both sides
4x/4 < 12/4
x < 3
^ the answer

Hope this helps! :)

Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

Seth watched TV for 6 3/4 hours last week.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of hours he watched TV last week.

(2/3)x = 4 1/2 hrs.  Solve for x by mult. both sides by (3/2):

(3/2)(2/3)x = (3/2)(9/2)

Then:     x = 27/4 hours, or 6 3/4 hours.

Seth watched TV for 6 3/4 hours last week.
