Mr. Frank says this line when they are all fighting.

He is saying that they don't need the Nazis to destroy them. They are destroying themselves by fighting. In this scene, they were fighting over food, which was certainly important -- however, Mr. Frank is saying that the good of all must be considered before individual needs.

Mr. Frank is saying that in order to survive, some sacrifice must be made, and the fighting must be stopped.

According to "The Philosophy of Composition, "why did Poe choose 'nevermore" as the refrain in "The Raven"?
Harrizon [31]

The correct answer is A.

In his essay, "The Philosophy of Composition," Poe explains that he wanted to have a strong word for the Raven to say. It had to be "sonorous and susceptible of protracted emphasis".

These considerations led him to the conclusion that the word should contain the vowel "o" connected with the consonant "r."

After deciding these characteristics, the first word that came to his mind was "Nevermore."
