When assessing tina’s uninjured ankle, what range of motion would you expect of this joint?
xeze [42]
In human body, a joint is defined as a location where two or more bones meet and connect. The range of motion of joints refers to the measurement of the maximum distance and direction a particular joint can move. Most joints are connected in such a way that they allow movements in specific directions only.
The quantity of movement through a normal range for each joint is measured in degrees using an instrument called goniometer. Scientists had established standard range of motion values for most joints.
For ankle joint, downward movement of the joint, which is called plantar flexion ranges from zero to 50 degrees while the movement upward, which is called dorsiflexion ranges from zero to 20 degrees.

Explain the krib cycle
Yuki888 [10]

Answer:

The Krebs Cycle, also called the citric acid cycle, is the second major step in oxidative phosphorylation. After glycolysis breaks glucose into smaller 3-carbon molecules, the Krebs cycle transfers the energy from these molecules to electron carriers, which will be used in the electron transport chain to produce ATP.

For each of the following 6 scenarios, identify each of the following: unconditioned stimulus, conditioned stimulus, uncondition
KIM [24]

Explanation:

The unconditioned stimulus is a stimulus that naturally, and automatically triggers a response. For example, the smell of your favorite food may make you hungry. The smell is the unconditioned stimulus.

The unconditioned response is the unlearned response that occurs naturally in response to the unconditioned stimulus.

In the example above, the unconditioned response is the hunger felt.

The conditioned stimulus is a previously neutral stimulus that, after becoming associated with the unconditioned stimulus, eventually comes to trigger a conditioned response.

1. An individual receives frequent injections of drugs, which are administered in a small examination room at a clinic. The drug itself causes increased heart rate but after several trips to the clinic, simply being in a small room causes an increased heart rate.

UCS = Injections; UCR = increased Heart Rate caused by drug CS = Small Room similar to the room at the clinic; CR = Increased heart rate.

2. For 3 years Mariah has played her trombone at the school's sports stadium most Friday nights for various sporting events as part of the school's pep band. One Friday night Mariah begins to walk down the school's tall stadium bleachers with her trombone and she trips and falls down several stairs bruising her leg and feelings humiliated as the people around her look at her and some students even laugh. Ever since that incident, each time Mariah walks down the bleacher stairs she looks to see who is around her and her heart rate increases as she nervously walks down the bleacher stairs.

UCS = Being laughed at; UCR = Feeling humiliated; CS = Walking down the bleacher; CR = Heart rate increase and nervousness

Each time she was pulled over, first she saw the flashing red lights of the police car. Then she would be questioned by the police and given a ticket, which made her feel very tense and upset. Now whenever she sees a police car with its flashing lights on she feels a little bit nervous, even if it is pulling over someone else.

Bees have a society in which different members have different responsibilities. The interaction among bees is an example of what
LiRa [457]

Cooperation is the answer because that’s when different organisms work together. Competition is when two from the same species compete for resources/ mates, so that’s not it. Commensalism is an interaction between species, so that’s not it. Consumerism I don’t think has to deal with biology at all.
