Murrr4er [49]

Since I cannot underline twice or circle here, I will explain what is what in each sentence.

Answer:

6. prepositional phrase: from you

preposition: from

object: you

prepositional phrase: in the cafeteria

preposition: in

object: the cafeteria

7. prepositional phrase: through the night

preposition: through

object: the night

8. prepositional phrase: with mittens

preposition: with

object: mittens

prepositional phrase: with gloves

preposition: with

object: gloves

9. prepositional phrase: toward its mother

preposition: toward

object: its mother

10. prepositional phrase: during their visit

preposition: during

object: their visit

prepositional phrase: to Chicago

preposition: to

object: Chicago

Explanation:

A prepositional phrase consists of a preposition and any complements that follow it. A preposition is a word used to establish a relationship between other words in sentence. It can, for instance, indicate time, place, or direction. Take a look at the example below:

- I will meet you at noon.

In the sentence above, the prepositional phrase is "at noon". The preposition "at" functions as a preposition of time here, since it is followed by the noun "noon", which indicates when the action will take place.

Why does representation matter, how can representation bring change to a community?
Zinaida [17]

Answer:

Representation matters because it helps normalize what people outside of certain groups may try to exclude otherwise. During these times of protests it is important to listen to those who are speaking out, because the reason it has gotten this way is because when people spoke out alone they were not listened to. It is essential to treat every single person as equal, and that can't happen until everyone is represented equally. Representation might not bring immediate change but if it is done correctly then children and future generations will learn about each other better than we did.

Explanation:

Now I would like you to try and think about why you think it matters, because it is important that you feel connected to this question.

How many movies have you seen where a character is represented in a stereotypical manner because of race or sex or sexuality? You can use that as further examples on how representation can be improved.

Also there may be a lot of grammatical errors I wrote this just streaming my own thoughts and you will have to clean yours up a bit.
