4 of the original boards have a summed length of 20 units. 5 x 4 = 20.
Since 2/5 is left from each board, you simply add them until the 2's add to 20.

So, 2 x 10 = 20. Hence, there are 10 2/5 boards.

That's just 4 of the boards that the 2/5 make up, but that should also mean that there are 10 3/5 boards as well.

30/5 + 20/5 = 50/5
Reduction = 10

The carpenter started with 10 5/5 boards.

Triangle
solve for x
(14x - 23)°
(5x - 7)°
(6x + 14)°
damaskus [11]

Answer:

the value of x = 10°

Step-by-step explanation:

here's the solution :-

we know that, the measure of exterior angle of the triangle is equal to the sum of opposite two interior angles.

so,

=》5x - 7 + 6x + 14 = 14x - 23

=》11x + 7 = 14x - 23

=》7 + 23 = 14x - 11x

=》3x = 30

=》x = 30 ÷ 3

=》x = 10°

Finding terms of an arithmetic sequence with a recursive formula

a1 =12 an= an-1+7
Basile [38]

Hey there!!

Recursive formula :

... a( n ) = a ( n - 1 ) + 7

The first term is 12

To find the second term, we will need to substitute 2 in place of ' n '

2 term :

... a( 2 ) = a ( 2 - 1 ) + 7

... a( 2 ) = a( 1 ) + 7

We know a( 1 ) = 12

... a( 2 ) = 12 + 7

... 19 is the second term and we will need to use this to find the other terms.

Hope my answer helps!

This programmer can type 55 words per minute At that rate how many words can the programmer type in 11 minutes A.66. B.550. C.60
AveGali [126]
Take 1 min = 55 words as a conversion factor. In order to achieve the words that a programmer could type, multiply the given 11 minutes to the conversion factor. Thus, it is viewed as (55 words/ 1 minute ) x 11 minutes in order to cancel some units, the answer would be 605 words.
