Answer:

Cups of flour 5/16

Cups of sugar 3/16

5/8 more cups of flour we need for 6 servings

Step-by-step explanation:

Cups of flour

We need to divide the total of flour (1 1/4) in the total of servings (4)

=(1 1/4)/4

=5/16 cups of flour for servings

Cups of sugar

We need to divide the total of sugar (3/4) in the total of servings (4)

=(3/4)/4

=3/16 cups of sugar for servings

If the recipe is for 6 servings

You need to add more flour and sugar to complete 6 servings

1 1/4 flour=4 servings

x flour=6 servings

(1 1/4 flour*6 serving)/4 servings=x flour

x flour= 15/8 cups of flour

The difference

First 1 1/4 cups

Then 1 7/8

More cups of flour=5/8

Help please! Suppose f(x) = x². What is the graph of g(x)= ⅓f(x)
horrorfan [7]

The graph of the function, g(x) = 1/3 f(x), is shown below. The correct option is A

<h3>Graph of functions </h3>

From the question, we are to determine the graph of the given function

The function we are to determine its graph is

g(x) = 1/3 f(x)

From the given information,

f(x) = x²

Thus,

We are to determine the graph of

g(x) = 1/3 x²

First, we will determine some points on the given function

Find g(x) when x = -3

g(x) = 1/3 x²

g(x) = 1/3 (-3)²

g(x) = 1/3 × 9

g(x) = 3

Find g(x) when x = 0

g(x) = 1/3 x²

g(x) = 1/3 (0)²

g(x) = 1/3 × 0

g(x) = 0

Find g(x) when x = 3

g(x) = 1/3 x²

g(x) = 1/3 (3)²

g(x) = 1/3 × 9

g(x) = 3

Using the points above, the graph of the function is shown below

What's <br> y=3x-3<br> 2y-x=4 as an ordered pair
matrenka [14]
I don’t wanna give the exact answer, i want to help you and lead you in the right place so you know the concept and process if a similar question is on an assessment. basically, the set of equations is set up for substitution method. we can agree that y equals 3x-3. so in the second equation, instead of writing “2y” you would SUBSTITUTE the y for 3x-3. so the equation would be 2(3x-3)-x=4. do the distributive property. once you get the equation after doing the distributive property, you solve for x using your algebra skills from previous units (cancel out x’s, for instance). your answer is your x coordinate. in order to find your y, you substitute whatever number you got for x and plug it in to one of the equations, doesn’t matter which. you will then solve for Y using your algebra skills you learned from previous units. after solving, you should get what y=. now you put the number in coordinate pair form which is (x,y)
