Answer:

According to the characteristics given and what the image shows, the species to which the frog corresponds is Bufo boreas.

Explanation:

Options for this question are:

 • Bufo marinus .
 • Litoria caerulea .
 • Bufo boreas.
 • Acris crepitans.

Bufo boreas is a species belonging to the family Bufonidae, very common in North America, constituting an anuro amphibian.

The appearance of B. boreas is that of a thickened and irregular skin, due to multiple warts found on its surface. Additionally it has a stripe or line in its dorsal region, which extends from the head to the tail.

These characteristics, together with the description given, make it possible to establish that B. boreas is the species that can be observed in the picture (see image).

Temka [501]

Hello!! Your answer would be C - Medulla oblongata. The medullary respiratory center includes two groups of neurons that extend throughout the length of the medulla oblongata. They are called the ventral respiratory group and the dorsal respiratory group. The ventral respiratory group is responsible for regulating inspiration and expiration. The dorsal respiratory group stimulates the inspiratory muscles, like the diaphragm (near bottom of ribs). It also helps process sensory information related to the respiratory system. Neurons in the brainstem are a part of the pontine respiratory group which limits inspiration and help the rhythm of breathing. I hope I helped give you a better understanding. Have a great evening!!
