Hi !!!
are you asking for translation in French ???
It depends on the context...
This girl is nice = cette fille est agréable / gentille
the weather is nice = le temps est agréable = il fait beau
Paris is a nice city = Paris est une belle ville
a nice cup of tea = une bonne tasse de thé
it's nice to see you = cela fait plaisir de te voir
this a nice meal = c'est un bon repas
.....
to try to help, I'd say =
for a person = gentil(le)
for the weather = il fait beau (the weather is nice = il fait beau; it's a nice day =c'est une belle journée, meaning "il fait beau")
for food = bon(ne)
for clothes, furniture, places, ...= joli(e)
for a girl, woman =you look nice = vous êtes jolie,
what a nice woman = quelle gentille femme
holidays, trip...= agréable My holidays were so nice = mes vacances étaient                              si agréables
nice try ! = bien essayé !
I guess many others ..... That's all I thought about !!
hope I helped :)

Answer:
Voters in the French-speaking province of Quebec will soon decide whether or not to secede from Canada. In 1980, after a similar referendum was soundly rejected, separatists blamed defeat on fears that sovereignty in Quebec would lead to economic hardship. To lure voters this time, the ruling Parti Quebecois promises to maintain close relations with Canada after independence. But this pledge may prove empty, as English Canada is showing signs of frustration over Quebec's constant demands for special treatment. With most opinion polls indicating a close vote on Oct. 30, U.S. officials are remaining diplomatically silent about what happens in Canada. But the stakes are large: Canada is the United States' biggest trading partner.

The jardin du Luxembourg is located inside Paris in the 6e arrondissement (district) quite in the center.
It's a real nice place to have a rest or walk around. There are also tennis courts, playgrounds for kids , in the central water basin, kids can play with boats. There are old fashion italian puppet shows with the famous italian Guignol. You have places to drink, etc....
Of course the architecture and the garden "à la française"  are wonderful.
The palais du Luxembourg is the place where the French Senate meets.Next to it, there's "the petit Luxembourg" , residence of the President of the Senate.
There are many art exhibition in the Luxembourg museum as well.
The is also a huge green house with, for example, 400 different species of orchids....
Having such a place quite in the center of Paris is very nice.
