Brain drain is when a country loss it’s educated and skilled workers through migration. It always results in a big problem when a country loses its educated and skilled citizens to other countries.

One of the implications of brain drain is that the economy will not be productive as there won’t enough skilled manpower to drive it. In other words, the country will suffer economic hardship since there are no competent individuals to make a difference.

Brain drain can also imply the loss of academic and technological workers through the movement of human capital to places that are more favorable in terms of the geographical location or better economic conditions.

Generally, this educated and skilled labor force usually moves from developing countries to developed countries or regions: most of the countries that are experiencing brain drain are the developing countries.

There are different causes of brain drain but it mostly depends on the situation of the countries that are facing the challenges.
