Answer:

CTGAGCT

Explanation:

DNA has a double stranded helical structure. The nucleotide of a DNA consist of the following bases; adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). In DNA, the bases are on both strands and they pair with each other as follow

  • Adenine only binds to thymine and vice versa
  • Guanine only binds to cytosine and vice versa

When one strand is read in one direction, the other strand is read in the reverse direction; this is because the strands move in opposite direction and are written/represented as such.

So, based on the above, the opposing strand of AGCTCAG is written as CTGAGCT not as TCGAGTC.

Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

Answer:well ADP is the bi-product from ATP. ATP is used for energy consumption in our bodies without it we won't be able to function on a daily basis. However you can restore ADP with supplemental supplements for example creatine creatine will restore ADP into a ATP. So in theory it's more like a capsule for storing energy.

If a cell has 32 pairs of chromosomes in its diploid state, how many chromosomes will it have after Meiosis 1? A. 8 B. 64 C. 32
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

option c is correct that is 32

Explanation:

meiosis occur in two phases in the first phase DNA replication occur and amount of DNA becomes doubled without any changes in the chromosomes number and two daughter cells( each 2n) are formed

now in stage 2 each daughter cell undergoes mitosis with the formation of two cells  each with half chromosomes (n)

now 2n =32

n=32/2=16

after meiosis stage 1 ........ two daughter cell each with 32 chromosomes

stage 2.... each daughter cell form two grand daughter cell each with 16 chromosomes
