ANSWER FOR NUMBER 1 : Europeans developed the system of feudalism to help provide economic and social stability and safety. Feudalism the feudal system arose as a way of protecting property and creating stability. It was based on loyalty and personal relationships. Monarchs have fiefs to lords, their most important vassals.

ANSWER FOR NUMBER 2:  The crusades were organized by western European Christians  after their centuries of Muslim  wars of  expansion. Their primary objectives were stop the expansion of Muslim states, to reclaim for Christianity the Holy Land in the middle east, and to recapture territories  that had formerly  been christian.

ANSWER FOR NUMBER 3:  The crusades had greatly effected these important areas. The medieval society , the structure the trade and the political system. The political system was changed from feudalism to monarchy in Europe.

Montesquieu was a philosophy that wrote during the Enlightenment period in World history. He believed that having a government which the powers were divided between different branches would result in less corruption. Along with this, he felt that this type of system would prevent on individual from gaining too much power. Montesquieu complimented the English for their system of checks and balances which consisted of a King, parliament, and a court system. The United States would go on to create a system similar to this when the US Constitution was developed.
