Dussel has not been on speaking terms with Van Daan for ten days and just because, ever since the burglary, a whole lot of fresh

security measures have been made that don't suit him....
He is not supposed to sit in the office downstairs on Saturday afternoons and Sundays anymore, but he goes on doing it just the same.

Which best describes Dussel's traits based on his actions?

A.) He is grumpy and immature
B.) He is selfish and inconsiderate
C.) He is independent and clearheaded
D.) He is brave and righteous

(I think A but B could be correct too)

From "The Diary of Anne Frank", the option that best describes Dussel's traits based on his actions is B) He is selfish and inconsiderate.

In her diary, Anne Frank wrote what happened to her family, the Van Danns and Dussel while hiding from the Nazis. When Dussel first arrives he says he is used to living all by himself and he is not used to adjusting to others. This is clearly shown in the way he does what he wants, even though after the burglary fresh security measures were taken.

Who are the ten against grendel? What happens to them and who survives? beowulf
motikmotik

Answer:

Grendel watches a great horned goat attempt to ascend the cliff side toward the mere. Angered by the goat’s dogged pursuit, Grendel yells at the creature. When the goat does not respond, Grendel reacts by throwing trees and stones at it. The goat continues to climb even after its skull has been split, and appears to continue climbing even after it dies.

That evening, Grendel goes to watch the humans and their daily routines. An old woman tells a group of children about a giant with the strength of thirty thanes who will come across the sea someday. Later that same night, Grendel watches as people gather at the bedside of the ailing Shaper. The Shaper tries to make a prediction about the fate of the Danes, but he dies before he can finish the sentence. About an hour later, the news of the Shaper’s death arrives at the house of a sleeping nobleman, whose middle-aged wife seems to have shared an unspoken, unconsummated love with the Shaper. Grendel watches old women prepare the Shaper for burial, and then he returns home to the mere.

Which of the following statements describes a functional text
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

The primary purpose is to provide information to perform a task

It presents facts, principles, theories and reasoning related to a subject.

Explanation:

We can only refer to something as being functional if it is serving its intended purpose. In a more literal interpretation, if something is working. Hence, a text can be referred to as being functional if it useful, that is it serves its main purpose of providing the required information necessary to perform a particular task. Furthermore, it should give additional information regarding the facts, principles, and reasoning behind a particular topic, problem or subject.
