It really depends on the person and how poignant that blog post is.
Poignant means deeply moving, so if you are touched by what you read in the post, you may still think about it in the days to come. It depends on what kind of a person you are - if you are emotional, easily touched, etc.

Muriel Rukeyser was an American poet whose poetry was labelled as romantic, political, creative, feminist, erotic. Her poems contain intense tone and creative imagination. She was known for writing poems which has single theme but were different from each other. Theory of Flight is a poem written by Rukeyser on the war.

This poem depicts the theme of the Rebellious temper that prevailed at the American campuses and the mindset of youth. The first line of one of her poems is I lived in the first century of world wars, this poem throws a light on her ideology behind social justice, feminism, and political overview.
