Answer:

Durante el fin de semana mis amigos hicieron muchas cosas. El viernes por la noche vieron una película en el cine, yo no pude ir porque tenía un cumpleaños. El sábado comimos y bebimos en un bar nuevo que abrió hace poco cerca de mi casa. El domingo mi amiga Laura hizo una fiesta por su cumpleaños. Por suerte no llovió porque estuvimos toda la tarde en el jardín. ¡Fue muy divertido!

Explanation:

The verbs used are in the preterite and are verbs that en with -er in the infinitive:

Hicieron (third person plural): hacer

Vieron (third person plural): ver

Pude (first person singular): poder

Comimos y bebimos (first person plural): comer, beber

Hizo (third person singular): hacer

Llovió (third person singular): llover

This is the English translation:

During the weekend my friends did a lot of things. On Friday night they went to the movies, I couldn't go because I had a birthday party. On Saturday we ate and had drinks in a new bar that opened recently near home. On Sunday my friend Laura had a birthday party. Luckily it didn't rain because we spent all the afternoon in the garden. It was really fun!
