If you have a whole dollar then split it up into quarters. 4 quarters is 1 dollar. so take one quarter (25¢) So decimal from would be .25 faction form would be 1/4. beacuse if you multiple .25 × 4 it would be 1. and multiple 1/4 × 4/1 it would be 4/4 which equal 1
