Yes, I would like to have some attributes shown by the great Confucius because he had the mental discipline, the high values in everything he did, and the will to live and teach by the example, overcoming many temptations and teaching other Chinese people how to leave in peace and harmony.

That is why I want to emulate part of his example when lived in ancient China.

Let's remember that Confucious lived during the Han Dynasty(206 BCE-220 CE), and Confucianism was the dominant ideology. The Analects is a collection of quotes and anecdotes that it is believed were compiled by Confucius followers. A collection of aphorisms, maxims, and different anecdotes, probably but not certainly compiled by Confucius' students and is considered a reliable source of Confucius’ view.
