I believe that the correct answer is D. The boys devotion to their cause has elevated them to a status higher than both books

In "Song of Becoming", Fadwa Tuqan describes how the lives of boys have changed due to the arising Israel-Arab conflict. She states that their happiness decreases as they become older (and become soldiers). At first they spoke the word of love from “Bible” and “Qur'an” (as they are philosophically similar) and afterwards used it to justify their religious beliefs and actions.

The title of the poem the legend alludes to
mina [271]

Answer:

The character of the man who is shot on the street.

Explanation:

The name of poem "The Legend" has many different interpretations. However, the most significant one is the fact that the author wants us to identify this man as a "legend." This is not because of what happens to him, but because of what he makes us realize about ourselves. The story of the man resembles a legend because he was ignored and under appreciated in his own society. People were unsympathetic to him, even when he lay dying. However, he will achieve his redemption in heaven, and the story will become one of hope for society, much like other legends.

jok3333 [9.3K]
In act 1, Shakespeare uses the images of light and dark to create contrasts between characters, families, concepts, and emotions. In Romeo and Juliet, he portrays Juliet as the light. This light shows best in darkness, this is where the contrast of Romeo and Juliet come in, both fills the darkness of each other by bringing light to their lives.

I would choose candy land. I would choose this because, in the end, you would get to be in the candy kingdom if you won!!! It would be a sticky world out there and you would get into many sticky situations. I would love my life to be so carefree but I would hate to get caught in Lord Licorice's way. There may be a few sour attitudes on the way but it would all be worth it. XD

What do the stage directions reveal about the motives for the behavior of Thomas Putnam and Reverend Parris? Cite specific detai
bonufazy [111]

Hello. You did not show the stage directions to which the question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

Stage directions are instructions from the author of a play about how the actors should act, move and what emotion or idea they must convey through the performance. In this case, it is only possible to know what the instructions indicate about the two characters, by reading these instructions. A stage direction, for example, can show that the actor must show nervousness, or distrust in a certain scene, which shows that the character behaves with nervousness and mistrust.
