1. Results caused by exercising without sufficient rest and recovery time is what is called an overuse injury.
Rest and recovery during training are just important as the training itself. The body needs time to recover from stress. The mistake many athletes and fitness enthusiasts is that they they over work their bodies and get injured. Injuries are more serious and can set you back by a lot, as the recovery process be quite long.
2. This one actually is already linked with the correct term as a break can be described as any time regular tasks or goals are missed.
The more correct definition here would a pause in the work activity but this can also be used as we take a break from our regular schedules and thus we miss the goals that would be set. But breaks are important as we have seen in the example above.
3. This is what you would call a motivation which is an internal desire to accomplish a task or move forward a goal.
There are two types of motivation. The first one we see here and it is called the intrinsic motivation, which stems from your personal desire to accomplish something. The second type is called the extrinsic motivation which is guided by the promise of some external rewards such as money, fame, grades at school and stuff like that.
4. Self-Talk is an internal monologue you have with yourself about the way you function in the daily situations of life.
Self- Talk is completely normal human activity that is shared by everyone. In training it can be very important as it can help you accomplish more as you cheer yourself to actually accomplish more. Unfortunately, we as humans are also prone to negative self talk that stems from our insecurities, which hinder your progress.
5. Bursitis in a swelling and pain the small fluid filled sacs around major tendons of the body.
Bursitis is connected with something that is knows as bursae which are small, fluid-sacs that cushion tendons, muscles and bones near your joints. When bursae became inflamed they lead to bursitis, which is typically caused by repetitive positions or motions that pressure the bursae.
6. Here we have feedback, which is the information about your performance so that you can make adjustments.
Feedback is very important. Feedback can come from variety of sources including your own body or your trainer. Getting feedback from a trainer is one of the most useful information you get as sometimes we do not see the mistakes we are making, and having someone who can spot them is of great benefit.

NEED HELP ASAPP !!! Describe the quality of American Indian reservations and the rations and annuities provided. Did the US gove
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

this is the sample response

Explanation:

The US government provided American Indians with rations of bacon, beef, flour, coffee, sugar, soap, and soda. These food items were consistent with the Plains Indians’ diets. Annuities that were provided included blankets, clothing, needles, tin cups, and small axes. Many American Indians were dissatisfied with the reservations because of the restrictions on their freedom and the loss of their traditions. Also, the government did not provide the American Indians with enough food supplies to feed everyone, and many tribal members ended up leaving the reservations.

What is a legion rome and why was it created??
Alex73 [517]

A Roman legion (from Latin legio "military levy, conscription", from legere "to choose") was the largest unit of the Roman army involving from 3000 men in early times to over 5200 men in imperial times, consisting of centuries as the basic units. Until the middle of the first century, 10 cohorts (about 5,000 men) made up a Roman Legion. This was later changed to nine cohorts of standard size (with 6 centuries at 80 men each) and one cohort, the first cohort, of double strength (5 double-strength centuries with 160 men each).

In the early Roman Kingdom the "legion" may have meant the entire Roman army but sources on this period are few and unreliable. The subsequent organization of legions varied greatly over time but legions were typically composed of around five thousand soldiers, divided during the republican era into three lines of ten maniples, and from about 100 BC into ten cohorts. Legions also included a small ala or cavalry unit. By the third century AD, the legion was a much smaller unit of about 1,000 to 1,500 men, and there were more of them. In the fourth century AD, East Roman border guard legions (limitanei) may have become even smaller.

For most of the Roman Imperial period, the legions formed the Roman army's elite heavy infantry, recruited exclusively from Roman citizens, while the remainder of the army consisted of auxiliaries, who provided additional infantry and the vast majority of the Roman army's cavalry. (Provincials who aspired to citizenship gained it when honourably discharged from the auxiliaries). The Roman army, for most of the Imperial period, consisted mostly of auxiliaries rather than legions. :) hope this helps you out
